Vendep Capital is an early-stage venture capital investor specializing in B2B SaaS companies. We are currently investing our 80m€ fourth fund in the greatest Nordic and Baltic B2B SaaS founders while our previous investments include over 40 companies with the likes of AlphaSense, Inven, Hostaway and Hopsworks.
We are looking for a brilliant Associate to join our eight-person, close-knit team. While we give you the needed support to learn the ropes here, you're expected to be driven, self-motivated and taking ownership of your role below.

As an Associate, you will be responsible for:
Deal flow sourcing (50%): Identifying and engaging with the next generation of high-growth company founders.
Developing relationships, discovering information from your networks, spotting early founder signals, making quick decisions on limited information, building and using AI tools for sourcing.
Deal analysis (30%): Conducting deep-dive due diligence and evaluating investment potential.
Creating opportunity and business overviews in new markets, mapping competition, identifying patterns across sectors.
Deal making & management (20%): Supporting the execution of investments and providing active support to portfolio companies alongside deal managers.
Conducting reference calls, compiling deal information, identifying portfolio requirements and developing tailored solutions, readiness to work on tight deadlines to meet portfolio needs.
Ideal profile
Above all, we look for a good fit with our small team. Nods to the following points will help you succeed:
Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in an investment environment.
Grit: Ability to own and level up your role through building thesis and conviction despite scattered facts.
Network: Already established founder and investor networks.
Communication: Fluent oral and written communication skills in English.
Presence: Ability to work on-site at our beautiful office in Keilaniemi, Espoo.
