UPC Capital Ventures

UPC Capital Ventures is the venture capital arm of UPC Energy Group, established in January 2014. It invests in startup and growth-stage businesses whose activities complement the broader UPC Group across consumer and industrial markets. Investment capital is drawn from UPC Group funds and from relationships built through the financing of wind and solar projects.

Sector coverage concentrates on sustainable technologies, financial technology and software. Stated technical domains include energy technology, energy efficiency, energy blockchain, sustainability, software as a service, financial technology and water resource management. The firm identifies sustainability and LOHAS - lifestyle of health and sustainability - as the organising theme of its investment philosophy, which is aligned with the mission and ideals of the UPC Group.

Support extends beyond capital: portfolio companies receive management, accounting and tax assistance through UPC's management organisations.
