It invests across the capital structure of private healthcare companies, from early-stage angel financings through early- and later-stage venture rounds, with a mandate confined to medical technology and biotechnology. The firm maintains two offices, in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, and San Mateo, California.
The partnership operates as a sector specialist rather than a generalist investor, on the view that investment decisions in these markets turn on clinical, commercial and regulatory considerations that warrant domain expertise.
