The Family Fund & Founder Community is hiring a Head of Fund Operations & Finance — a role at the heart of how we invest in, build infrastructure around, and accelerate the next generation of high-growth brands and technologies shaping the future of consumer products, health, and wellness.

Responsibilities Include (but not limited to:)

  • Own day-to-day operations of Fund I & Fund II and any SPVs, including managing entity set-ups, bank accounts, capital calls and funding investments, distributions, carry, documentations and filings, and fund admin oversight 

  • Manage fund finance work-streams, including budgeting, cash flow forecasting, reconciliations, and expense tracking

  • Work with GPs to adjust, monitor & provide compliant reporting for capital call revolver 

  • Coordinate quarterly valuations, annual audits and tax processes, including K-1 distribution and LP communication

  • Oversee quarterly and annual reporting, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to LPs, as well as other relevant investor updates 

  • Work with GPs on capital formation strategies, assisting with fundraising workflows, documentation, and registrations 

  • Create and maintain dashboards and tools that support detailed record keeping around investment and portfolio tracking, internal performance, and co-investment activity 

  • Manage and coordinate across outsourced CFO, fund admin platforms, legal, compliance, and accounting firms to ensure operational excellence 

  • Proactively identify resources to improve internal efficiency and implement scalable systems (e.g., relevant AI resources) 

Ideal Candidate 

  • Minimum 5-7 years of fund operations and finance experience at a venture capital or private equity fund 

  • Deep understanding of best-practices necessary for fund operational excellence in terms of both day-to-day tasks as well as forward looking scaling needs 

  • Experience in managing various 3rd party service providers (e.g., Aduro for fund admin) and understand their suites of services and how to most effectively utilize such resources 

  • Highly organized, proactive, scrappy and hands-on - no task is too small 

  • Strategic thinker, intellectually curious, and adaptive - anticipates fund needs rather than just taking instructions 

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
