Stellantis Ventures
Corporate venture arm of Stellantis, investing in startups developing automotive and mobility technologies since 2021.
Stellantis Ventures is the venture arm of Stellantis, a vehicle manufacturer and mobility group formed in 2021 through the merger of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and Groupe PSA. Established the same year, the unit invests in startups developing automotive and mobility technologies. Its stated areas of interest span automotive engineering, powertrain development, software, platform development and mobility technologies - the same technical disciplines that underpin its parent's vehicle programmes.
The strategic rationale follows from the scale of the parent organisation. Stellantis operates 14 automotive brands, among them Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Citroën, Dodge, DS Automobiles, FIAT, Jeep, Lancia, Maserati, Opel, Peugeot, Ram and Vauxhall, together with two mobility brands, Free2move and Leasys. The group manufactures across Europe, the Americas and Africa and serves more than 130 markets worldwide, offering portfolio companies potential exposure to multiple marques, regions and distribution channels.
Investment terms - including fund size, stage focus and typical cheque size - have not been disclosed publicly. For candidates, the distinguishing feature is the proximity to a manufacturer operating across the full vehicle lifecycle, from platform and powertrain development through to manufacturing, sales and leasing-based mobility services. The group frames its direction around the combination of brand heritage with new platforms, powertrains, software and mobility technologies.
