Business Development Intern - Fundraising / Scouting & Operations

At Startupbootcamp Italy, we're hiring two Business Development Interns to work alongside our Business Development and Scouting & Operations teams, with hands-on exposure to Venture Capital, Startups & Innovation.

Startupbootcamp is an international network focused on startup acceleration and innovation. In Italy, we work alongside startups, investors and corporates through acceleration programs, investment vehicles and open innovation projects.

Two roles, two different focuses

💸 Business Development Intern – Fundraising

You will support the team across fundraising, investor relations and corporate development, mainly focusing on:

• scouting and segmentation of investors and corporate partners
• building and qualifying prospect lists
• managing and updating the fundraising pipeline
• preparing fundraising materials
• supporting meetings and events with investors and corporates

⚙️ Business Development Intern – Operations

You will support the management of our acceleration programs and portfolio startups, mainly focusing on:

• onboarding and supporting startups throughout the programs
• coordinating activities between startups, mentors, advisors, partners and the internal team
• organizing mentorship sessions, workshops and program activities
• monitoring activities, deadlines and deliverables
• supporting Demo Days, Investor Days and other events

🔎 Who we're looking for

Recent graduates in Economics, Management, Finance, Business Administration, Innovation Management or related fields, with a strong interest in startups, VC and innovation.

We're looking for curious, proactive, detail-oriented and well-organized people who are eager to learn. Good English and Google Workspace skills are required, while familiarity with AI tools & workflows is highly appreciated.

Native or near-native English proficiency and familiarity with the US or Middle Eastern business ecosystems will be considered a plus.

Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM systems, financial databases or investor intelligence platforms is also a plus.

• 🏢 In-office presence at least Tue–Wed–Thu
• 💰 €500/month + €8 meal vouchers for each day in the office

At the end of the internship, depending on individual performance and the team's needs, there may be an opportunity to continue the journey with Startupbootcamp.
