Springboard Health Angels

Springboard Health Angels is a curated angel syndicate of operators, clinicians and scientists that invests in pre-seed and seed-stage health technology and life sciences companies. Based in Berlin, the network evaluates and co-invests alongside its members, pairing capital with scientific, clinical, regulatory and business expertise drawn from across healthcare, biopharma and industry.

The syndicate was formed in response to a gap in Germany's startup ecosystem for investors holding clinical and regulatory knowledge. Its stated aim is to translate research into patient impact at scale. Investment activity spans health technology, life sciences, robotics, computational biology, bio-resilience, the biopharma value chain and healthcare systems, with a sector focus that also covers biopharma and healthcare more broadly.

Alongside the angel syndicate, a related venture fund is in development, intended to extend investment into companies sourced and assessed by the Springboard expert network. The organisation maintains a knowledge-sharing approach in which diligence and support are informed by practitioners active in science, healthcare and business.
