Socially Financed

A community-driven firm investing in early-stage fintech and financial services startups through a venture fund and syndicate, pairing capital with operational guidance.

Socially Financed is a community-driven investment firm backing early-stage financial technology and financial services companies. It invests through two vehicles: a Venture Fund, through which it takes positions alongside operator and investor members, and a Syndicate, which allows members to co-invest directly in individual early-stage companies. Both vehicles are open only to accredited investors.

The firm's sector focus spans banking, payments, investing, financial infrastructure, and both consumer and business financial services. Beyond capital, Socially Financed pairs investment with hands-on operational guidance, drawing on a network of fintech operators, co-investors, and founders who have built and run fintech products. Members contribute experience, networks, and practical advice across product development, growth, and the regulatory and operational complexities of building in financial services.

The founding team comprises Albert Cheng, Stephen Sikes, and Aaron Larue. The firm describes itself as open to contact from both prospective investors and founders.
