SciFounders

SciFounders is a venture firm built by repeat founders of research-heavy companies. Its mandate is to invest in and mentor technical founders working on impactful, science-based technologies, with a stage range spanning pre-seed through Series A. The firm concentrates on deep tech and research-heavy ventures - sectors where technical depth is the primary barrier to entry and where operating experience with science-based businesses is scarce.

Alongside its investment activity, SciFounders runs the SciFounder Fellowship, an early-stage programme aimed at committed technical founders worldwide working on challenging technologies. The fellowship provides funding of up to $1 million per founder or company, together with hands-on mentorship and practical guidance from people who have built and operated science-based businesses. The combination of capital and operator support reflects the firm's positioning: its partners have themselves started research-heavy companies, and the mentorship offered is drawn from that direct experience.

Geographically, the fellowship is open to founders globally. The firm's stated orientation is toward ambitious, impact-oriented work on difficult technical problems, and toward founders with deep research expertise who are committed to company building.
