The short version
Savano Capital Partners is growing its investment team following the recent close of our fourth fund. We're hiring an Investment Vice President to originate, evaluate, and lead investments in leading late-stage technology and tech-enabled services companies.
This is a deal leadership role. You'll take ownership of investment opportunities from initial sourcing through diligence, investment committee, negotiation, and closing. You'll be responsible for driving the process, coordinating internal and external resources, developing investment recommendations, and keeping transactions moving forward.
You'll work directly with our partners, play an active role in investment committee discussions, and have meaningful responsibility for investment outcomes within a collaborative team of approximately ten professionals.
About Savano
Savano Capital Partners is a direct secondaries investment firm focused on leading late-stage technology and tech-enabled services companies.
We provide liquidity to founders, executives, employees, and early investors by acquiring minority ownership positions in established, high-growth businesses. Our investments are typically $10–30 million per company.
Our approach combines the fundamental underwriting and investment discipline of growth equity with the differentiated sourcing and transaction dynamics of direct secondaries. We focus on high-quality, capital-efficient companies and build relationships with shareholders well before potential transactions emerge.
We recently closed Fund IV, providing our largest pool of capital to date and a strong foundation for continued growth.
What you'll do
- Originate investment opportunities. Independently identify attractive companies and potential sellers, develop proprietary deal flow, and take ownership of company and shareholder relationships.
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships. Develop lasting relationships with founders, executives, shareholders, investors, and other market participants across the technology ecosystem.
- Lead investment evaluation and execution. Take ownership of opportunities from initial qualification through diligence, investment committee, negotiation, and closing. Coordinate internal and external resources to move transactions forward.
- Develop investment theses and recommendations. Assess business quality, competitive positioning, growth potential, financial performance, and valuation. Lead financial analysis and underwriting, prepare investment committee materials, and present and defend investment recommendations.
- Evaluate and structure secondary transactions. Assess shareholder dynamics, transaction structures, pricing, and liquidity considerations. Work directly with counterparties, company management, and legal advisors to negotiate and execute investments.
- Monitor portfolio investments. Evaluate company performance, industry developments, potential exits, and follow-on investment opportunities.
- Mentor junior investment professionals. Provide guidance and oversight on sourcing, diligence, financial analysis, and transaction execution.
- Help shape our investment platform. Contribute to initiatives that enhance our sourcing capabilities, data, technology, investment processes, and broader investment strategy.
