Santatera Capital is an early-stage fund that invests globally in startups that are leading change in the Food & Beverage industry, with particular focus on the US market. The key verticals that we invest in are Food & Beverage products (CPGs) and FoodTech with a special focus in Nex-Gen Food & Drinks and technologies focused on Food Processing, Food Safety and traceability and Surplus & waste management. Our Team & Advisors have strong experience managing Venture Capital vehicles, Structuring M&A deals, and operating companies across the whole Food & Beverage value chain.

  • CPG: Consumer packaged goods within food and beverage industry.
  • Next-gen food & drinks: New types of foods and beverages that are created through innovation leveraged on science and technology.
  • Food producing & processing: Technology or innovative techniques that efficient food processing/production or that improve functionality.
  • Food safety & traceability: Solutions that leverage technology to sanitize food or equipment, extend shelf-life, trace supply chain and ingredients quality or assesses products freshness.
  • Surplus & waste management: Tech-powered Food waste solutions, processes or products that reduce waste. We will put a special focus on Upcycled products (creating new and higher value products from recycled materials).
