About the Velocity Program

Velocity is Radical Ventures’ internal platform function, purpose-built to help our early- and growth-stage portfolio companies accelerate their key growth milestones. The program delivers dedicated, AI-first company-building expertise across talent and recruiting, compute, go-to-market, brand, and finance and governance. Our team includes experienced founders, operators, and AI leaders who understand the unique challenges facing high-growth AI businesses.

The Role

We are seeking a Velocity Operations Manager to drive the day-to-day execution of Radical’s Velocity platform programs. Reporting to the Director, Velocity Operations, this individual will own a broad set of operational and communications responsibilities — from portfolio tracking and LP reporting to internal knowledge programs and advisor network support.

This role is well-suited to a highly organized, detail-oriented operator who thrives in a high-performance environment, takes full ownership of their workload, and maintains a consistently high bar for quality. You will work closely with founders, investors, advisors, and internal leadership to ensure Velocity’s programs run smoothly. A core part of the job is being responsive and genuinely helpful to founders — making it easy for them to access Radical’s expertise and resources as they grow.

Key Responsibilities

Velocity Program Operations

  • Be a responsive, day-to-day point of contact for founders’ Velocity needs — building strong working relationships and connecting them to the right Radical expertise and resources to support their growth.

  • Own tracking and reporting infrastructure for Velocity, including portfolio onboarding details, data quality, and mid-year and end-of-year activity reports.

  • Manage founder NPS survey process: design, distribution, collection, and synthesis of results, surfacing themes that help improve the founder experience.

  • Prepare presentation materials for key Radical forums including AGM, LPAC, and partner meetings.

  • Support the Radical Advisor Network: assist with onboarding, manage regular check-ins, and track engagement.

  • Help the Velocity and investment teams prepare materials that showcase Radical’s value-add to prospective founders during diligence and competitive processes.

Insights & LP Engagement

  • Lead preparation of quarterly LP updates — coordinating content across teams, and drafting materials to provide LPs with portfolio updates.

  • Manage action items and communications across Radical team.

  • Track Radical portfolio engagements to support end-of-year reporting.

Intelligence & Knowledge Programs

  • Coordinate Radical Intelligence program, including scheduling, speaker logistics, and follow-through.

  • Support Radical Reads, including curation, communications, and distribution.

What You Bring

Required

  • 2-4 years of experience in operations, program management, or a related function in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and a high bar for attention to detail — you track everything and let nothing fall through the cracks.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable producing materials for senior internal and external stakeholders.

  • A founder-first, service-oriented mindset — responsive, reliable, and motivated to help founders get real value from Radical’s expertise and network.

  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and maintain quality under pressure.

Bonus

  • Experience in venture capital, startup ecosystems, or investor-facing platform roles.

  • Familiarity with the AI landscape and an interest in how AI companies scale.

  • Experience with CRM or project management tools (Notion, Airtable, or similar).

  • Advanced degree (MSc, MBA) is a plus but not required.

Why Join Radical?

  • High-impact role: Play a central role in scaling a platform program at one of the world’s leading AI-focused VC firms.

  • Unique exposure: Work closely with founders, investors, and scientific advisors across a diverse AI portfolio.

  • Professional growth: Build operational and venture-facing experience across a broad mandate.

  • World-class network: Engage with leaders at the forefront of AI innovation.
