About the role
Proptechfonden invests in companies shaping the future of the construction and real estate industry. The fund is looking for a sharp student associate to work closely with leadership on deal flow, portfolio support, and strategic analysis.
The role spans the full value chain of a specialized VC fund, from first screening of new deals to reporting to institutional investors.
Responsibilities
- Screen incoming deals against the fund's investment criteria.
- Conduct AI-assisted competitor and market analysis.
- Research founders and teams and review due diligence material.
- Monitor potential investment opportunities on the fund's watchlist.
- Support the director and board with ad hoc tasks.
- Identify funds that are relevant co-investors and prepare meeting materials.
- Maintain overviews of relevant networks.
- Collect and process quarterly reporting from portfolio companies.
- Contribute to reporting analyses and insight on current trends.
- Keep the website and LinkedIn presence up to date.
- Coordinate ongoing contact between portfolio companies and the ambassador network.
Profile
- Master's-level student in finance, business, economics, or similar.
- Structured across qualitative and quantitative analysis.
- Strong written Danish and English.
- Comfortable with AI tools and HubSpot, or quick to learn.
- Curious about real estate and construction; prior knowledge is a plus.
- Self-driven and able to own tasks end to end.
Details
Approximately 10 hours per week. Compensation by agreement. Start as soon as possible.
