PatentVC | Full-Time | In-Office — 3000 Sand Hill Road, Menlo Park, CA Compensation: $60,000–$75,000 base + $20,000–$30,000 housing support
The Role
PatentVC is hiring an entry-level Podcast & Founder Outreach Associate to help build one of the most compelling founder interview platforms in Silicon Valley.
This is a front-facing role. You won't be behind the scenes — you'll be the person reaching out to CEOs, sitting across from founders, and serving as the voice of our content. If you perform well, you will build a powerful Silicon Valley network very quickly.
What You'll Do
Interview & Host
Host and co-host podcasts, webinars, and in-person interviews with startup founders, CEOs, AI builders, and venture investors
Lead conversations on AI, emerging technology, venture capital, founder journeys, and intellectual property strategy
Prepare thoroughly by researching each guest and developing thoughtful, substantive questions
Outreach & Relationship-Building
Conduct high-volume outreach via email, LinkedIn, and in-person introductions to book high-quality guests
Invite and host guests at our Sand Hill Road office
Attend Bay Area startup and networking events multiple times per week
Content Production
Turn interviews into short-form clips, LinkedIn posts, long-form articles, and episode summaries
Who We're Looking For
Class of 2026 graduates from a top U.S. university with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media, or Business.
You should bring:
Excellent verbal communication skills and a natural ability to engage people in substantive conversation
Strong writing ability — you can turn a 45-minute interview into compelling written content
A journalist's curiosity and instinct for the right follow-up question
Comfort on camera and on mic
Experience with podcasts, video interviews, campus media, newsletters, or content creation of any kind
You should be:
Highly outgoing and personable — not afraid to cold-email a CEO
Organized and disciplined with follow-ups
Genuinely interested in AI, startups, venture capital, and innovation

Compensation & Location
Base Salary: $60,000–$75,000
Housing Support: $20,000–$30,000 (optional shared housing in Mountain View available)
Location: Full-time, in-office at 3000 Sand Hill Road, Menlo Park
Must be based in the Bay Area or ready to relocate immediately
