Since its genesis at the University of Oxford in 2015, Panacea Innovation has partnered with some of the world’s best sci-entrepreneurs, research bodies, universities and corporates to build more than 280 companies that offer cutting-edge solutions - curating a portfolio of more than GBP£300m in value.

Panacea Innovation’s venturing activities are delivered through two complementary arms: Panacea Stars - a technology translation, commercialisation and R&D arm - and Panacea Ventures, the investment management one.

Mila Ventures

Mila Ventures is building the Venture Scientist platform: an integrated venture-creation engine designed to translate frontier AI research into world-class companies - rooted in Canada, built for the world. Mila Ventures operates within Mila, a prestigious AI research institute based in Montréal, founded by Yoshua Bengio, one of the godfathers of modern artificial intelligence and a pioneer of deep learning. The platform brings together: Mila Venture Studio (co-creating companies with professors, students, and entrepreneurs) Mila Accelerator (early company building and scaling) Venture Scientist Academy (training researchers to become venture builders) The Mila Venture Fund (in formation) We operate at the intersection of AI research, venture creation, and capital, working closely with Mila's globally renowned researchers, students, founders, investors, corporate partners, and public institutions.

Xora Innovation

We invest in opportunities backed by deep science. Xora is an early-stage investment platform of Temasek. We typically invest as a lead or co-lead investor in the Seed and Series A rounds, and later rounds (via our parent company). While we are not limited by geography, we prioritize opportunities that possess a strong linkage with the Singapore science & technology ecosystem. AdBio partners (formerly Advent France Biotechnology) is a venture capital firm investing in early stage life sciences companies in Europe. AdBio partners’ unique strategy combines early-stage investments in promising startups and strong entrepreneurial support to enable and strengthen the company’s growth. As an early-stage investor, we act as a catalyst to create companies based on innovations coming from academic research. Endless Frontier Labs

The EFL program runs from October – May each year. Founders are not required to have a New York University affiliation and do not have to relocate to New York. The program is free for founders – no equity or fees are taken. Other program benefits include: Executive mentorship: Business leaders, serial entrepreneurs, and seasoned executives will help you craft your company’s vision through time-bound, performance-based goals. Access to leading VCs and Investors: Investment mentors will guide you in successfully raising capital, make connections with New York’s investment community, and may even invest in your startup. Guidance from leading scientists: Prominent scientists and researchers across a myriad of verticals will help you mold your technology development strategy. Business development: NYU Stern’s MBA students will support you in a variety of ways based on your specific business needs. EFL team guidance: The EFL’s expert team will keep you on track to accomplishing your goals by optimizing your access to mentors, MBA students, and other resources throughout the program. Corporate services: EFL’s corporate partners donate many hours and hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of in-kind legal, financial, and technological services.
