About this internship
Openspace Internships aim to provide accomplished individuals with the experience of working in a leading multi-strategy asset manager. The Thailand Investment team is looking for a full-time Investment Intern based in Bangkok for 1H 2026. Interns will have the opportunity to work alongside a highly dynamic and experienced team on a wide variety of projects.
As an intern, you will gain exposure to aspects of the investment process: sourcing and evaluating potential investments, performing due diligence, structuring and closing transactions, exiting investments, and interacting with key stakeholders.
Your Role & Responsibilities:
Assist in the end-to end venture capital investment process. Specifically, the intern will work with the Investment Manager to:
Identify investment prospects
Review pitch decks
Perform due diligence on prospective companies
Research on competitors and industry landscaping
Financial, operational, and returns analysis
Assist in preparation of investment memorandum
Identify and perform market research/screens on tech subsectors for thought leadership and seek potential investment opportunities
Prepare presentations for internal/external business development purposes
Support other operational activities associated with the firm, including marketing, fund administration and event planning.
What we look for:
Penultimate year or above undergraduates/postgraduates with previous internship/work experience in PE/VC, strategy consulting, investment banking or corporate finance
Passion and curiosity for technology and venture capital investments
Proficiency in financial modeling and building presentation decks
Strong analytical skills
Ability to work independently
Fluent in English and Thai
Proactive, independent, and able to work with minimal supervision. This internship role will require a self-starter who can manage competing deadlines, can drive conversations to a decision and can prioritize appropriately.
