Internship programme
The internship is with Openspace’s private credit strategy, which looks to invest check sizes of US$5-25M. Target investment opportunities are mainly growth stage companies that are VC backed, PE backed or non-sponsored.
Openspace Internships aim to provide accomplished individuals with the experience of working with a leading buyside firm investing in regional companies. Over the course of 12 – 18 weeks, interns will have the opportunity to work alongside a highly dynamic and experienced team on a wide variety of projects.
As a Private Credit Intern, you will gain exposure to various aspects of Openspace's credit strategy across investing and fundraising.
Your Role & Responsibilities:
- Working with the team on assessing investment opportunities
- Preparing credit memos
- Financial modelling
- Conducting industry and sector analysis
- Assisting the team on ongoing due diligence
- Preparing presentations for internal/external purposes
- Assistance on fundraising collateral
- Other aspects of work on Openspace's credit strategy
What we look for
- Prior internship experience at a private credit fund or leveraged finance team in a bank
- Major in finance or related disciplines
- Good academic track record
- Fluent in English
- Proactive, independent, and a self-starter who can manage competing deadlines, can drive conversations to a decision and can prioritize appropriately.
