As a VC, you will source, invest in exceptional founders and startups and help them to scale.

What will you do?

At OneRagtime, being part of the investment team means being at the forefront of our activities for everything regarding startups. As a VC, you will source, invest in exceptional founders and startups and help them to scale.

The following tasks will be part of your role:

• Source and manage a deal flow of international startups and entrepreneurs
• Assess investment opportunities and perform market research, data analysis and financial modelling
• Negotiate and close the investments (pilote the legal discussions, manage the external due diligences...)
• Monitor and help our portfolio companies (you will have a direct relationship with some of our portfolio founders)
• Manage some exit processes for portfolio companies maximizing value creation at all stages and timing
• Develop OneRagtime’s network within the VC / PE / Strategic partners / investors, entrepreneurs ecosystem
• Actively contribute to OneRagtime’s brand image and become a spokesperson (conferences, social networks …)
• Work with our investor community, making sure they are engaged to support our projects
• Help the team structure new activities and projects, both in terms of investment verticals and product development (we try to leverage our tech team for every aspect of our activities)

Who are we looking for?

As a future key member of our team, we are looking for someone who will both share our values, bring a real energy to all our activities and who is ready to grow within OneRagtime.

We are looking to meet candidates matching these criteria:

• Passionate about startups, innovation and the tech industry
• Ability to take initiatives and be quickly autonomous
• Incredibly organised and resourceful, able to juggle and multi-task, with an acute attention to detail and follow through
• International mindset (and at least completely fluent in English and French)
• At least 3 years of experience in the investment ecosystem (VC/PE/M&A/strategy consulting/transaction services or in any related services)
• Some experience building relationships with startup founders
• A strong academic record (top business and/or engineering school)
• An appetite for building a tech-enabled VC-platform and closely collaborate with our tech team
