About the Company
When Justice and Magnificent Ventures are seeking a senior executive to serve in a combined CFO/COO role across a growing platform spanning mission-driven work, venture investing, and founder-led initiatives. This position will be principally focused on financial leadership, operating discipline, and organizational execution across When Justice and Magnificent Ventures, with secondary support for Rain Dance Ventures, the family office of Roland Peralta. Magnificent Ventures is a venture platform that provides investors with access to select portions of high-performing allocations that are often otherwise difficult to access. The ideal candidate is a sophisticated finance and operations executive who can bring rigor, structure, and strategic judgment to a dynamic, multi-entity environment.
About the Role
This position will be principally focused on financial leadership, operating discipline, and organizational execution across When Justice and Magnificent Ventures, with secondary support for Rain Dance Ventures.
Responsibilities
- Lead all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, treasury oversight, and cash management across the platform.
- Oversee day-to-day operational infrastructure and help build scalable systems, controls, and internal processes.
- Support fund operations, allocation tracking, diligence workflows, and investor-facing financial materials.
- Partner closely with the founder on strategic planning, execution priorities, and cross-platform decision-making.
- Coordinate with external accounting, legal, tax, compliance, audit, and advisory partners.
- Help establish reporting cadence, organizational accountability, and operating discipline across multiple entities.
- Support the financial and operational needs of affiliated non-profit initiatives and other founder-led endeavors as needed.
Qualifications
- Significant senior leadership experience in finance, operations, private investment, venture capital, or related executive roles.
- Strong command of financial management, reporting, controls, and multi-entity operations.
- Experience working closely with founders, investors, and external advisors.
- Ability to move seamlessly between high-level strategy and hands-on execution.
- Excellent judgment, discretion, and organizational leadership.
- Comfortable in entrepreneurial, fast-moving, and evolving environments.
Required Skills
Strong command of financial management, reporting, controls, and multi-entity operations.
Preferred Skills
Experience working closely with founders, investors, and external advisors.
Pay range and compensation package
Base salary of $200k-$250k. Discretionary bonus. Benefits to be discussed separately.
