Living On The Edge Capital

Living On The Edge Capital (LOTE) is a venture capital fund based in Nuevo León, Mexico, investing in pre-seed and seed-stage startups founded by Latin American entrepreneurs, irrespective of where the company is incorporated. Its stated thesis targets technology-enabled disruptive business models and the digital transformation of traditionally static industries, with activity spanning real estate, financial services, consumer industries, retail and consumer goods.

Alongside equity investment, the fund works with founders on business plans and objectives and connects them with cross-industry networks intended to widen distribution and impact. Partner and advisor experience across financial services, retail, consumer goods, real estate and innovation informs this support, which the firm characterises as hands-on rather than passive.

Five portfolio companies are publicly listed: BottleBits, Kigui, iTierra, Chazki and Publifix. Fund size, founding date and team size are not disclosed.
