We are a venture capital firm combined with an active venture studio model, focused on identifying, investing in, and building high-potential early-stage startups. Our hybrid approach allows us to not only source and fund promising founders but also co-create and launch new ventures from ideation to market entry. We are seeking a highly motivated graduate student to join our team for the spring semester and gain hands-on experience in the full lifecycle of venture investing and company building.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and industry trend assessments to identify promising investment opportunities and new venture ideas
Support deal sourcing by scouting startups, reviewing inbound pitches, and building relationships within the startup ecosystem
Assist in due diligence processes, including financial modeling, cap table analysis, founder background checks, and product/market fit evaluation
Contribute to venture studio activities, such as ideation sessions, business model development, go-to-market strategy planning, and early prototype validation for internally built companies
Prepare investment memos, pitch decks, and presentation materials for internal team review and partner meetings
Attend pitch meetings, founder calls, and industry events (virtual or in-person) to gain exposure to the startup and VC community
Support ad-hoc projects, such as sector deep dives, data analysis, and ecosystem mapping
Qualifications & Requirements
Currently enrolled in a graduate program (strongly preferred: MBA or equivalent business-related master's degree; other relevant programs such as MS in Finance, Entrepreneurship, or Technology Management will be considered)
Demonstrated strong interest in venture capital, startups, entrepreneurship, and innovation
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; proficiency in Excel (financial modeling a plus) and PowerPoint
Outstanding research and writing abilities with the capacity to synthesize complex information into clear, concise insights
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable interacting with founders, investors, and team members
Self-starter with high initiative, intellectual curiosity, and attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
Prior experience in finance, consulting, startups, product management, or entrepreneurship is a plus (but not required)
