Job description

Associates at Latin Leap are at the forefront of deal execution. You will work to facilitate the execution of deals through the preparation of client materials, conducting due diligence, financial analysis, drafting of marketing materials, reviewing documentation, project management, and financial analysis.

You will be in charge of maintaining relationships with relevant industry partners and potential portfolio companies. Associates will also support the active management of current portfolio companies by preparing monthly operational and financial reports, and the development and implementation of strategic initiatives.

Associates at Latin Leap will possess good relational and management skills as you will be involved in the management of analysts, working closely with them to be supported in terms of deal sourcing, company introductions, and networking.

You will act as the front-line filter to find the best startups (scouting), pre-qualify them, and recommend them to the Principals and Partners.

Associates should possess excellent interpersonal and technical skills in the use of AI tools such as Claude Co-Work as well as experience with vibe coding. You should have demonstrated experience working and interacting with founders and senior management of companies and other stakeholders.

You should have strong financial skills and experience in financial modelling with the use of AI, and have the ability to communicate findings articulately in both English and Spanish.

Most importantly, you are passionate about the latest technologies and developments in the emerging markets of Latin America.

This role is remote but based in Mexico (candidates shall be located in Mexico)
