Korea Investment Partners US (KIPUS) is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Specialist to support our venture capital operations and community-building initiatives.
In this role, you will serve as the primary point person for fund operations, reporting directly to the CEO and taking on a central role in the fund’s operations. Also, you will take ownership of day-to-day fund operations and act as a central hub connecting investment professionals, external partners, and internal teams. This position requires a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams with confidence and accountability.
Responsibilities
Fund Administration
· Take ownership of day-to-day fund operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and operational integrity across the fund lifecycle
· Serve as a central point of coordination among fund administrators, accounting firms, banks, auditors, legal advisors, and internal stakeholders
· Oversee fund documentation, regulatory compliance, and investor onboarding processes in alignment with internal policies and industry standards
· Support the preparation and review of periodic financial and management reports for internal and external stakeholders
· Support cross-functional reporting and operational initiatives to meet HQ and firm-wide requirements
Event Coordination
· Plan and execute LP-focused events, including investor meetings, founder dinners, demo days, and networking sessions
· Manage end-to-end event logistics, including venue selection, catering, invitations, guest coordination, and on-site support
· Coordinate founder and LP participation to ensure seamless communication and smooth event flow
· Support visiting LPs and executives with travel arrangements, meeting scheduling, and on-site assistance
General Support
· Provide operational and administrative support to the CEO and the investment team
· Assist with additional projects across fund operations and firm-wide initiatives
Qualifications
· 2+ years of experience in fund accounting or fund administration
· Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
· Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset
· Comfortable engaging with people and building relationships across diverse stakeholder groups
· Able to handle confidential information with discretion
· Korean fluency required
