Stay up-to-date on industry news and get your career consultation scheduled at </em><a href="http://kingdeux.com/" target="_blank"><em>kingdeux.com</em></a></p> <p dir="ltr"><br></p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>About your role</strong></p> <p dir="ltr"><br></p> <ul><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Sourcing: Identify and engage promising startups for investment opportunities.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Deal Execution: Conduct due diligence on potential startups, analyzing their markets and financial projections, and negotiating deal terms.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Fundraising and Investor Relations: Assist in raising new funds, reporting to existing investors, and attracting new investors for future funding rounds.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to provide guidance to startup teams on business development, strategic planning, fundraising, and other key areas.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Oversee client progress toward business goals, providing relevant services, resources, training, and developing new initiatives and special projects to support their growth journey.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Organize and promote special events and networking programs connecting business and community leaders to strengthen the startup ecosystem.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Develop success stories and case studies that demonstrate the value created for startups under the programme.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Review and update operational procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Foster a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and quality improvement.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Mentor and develop team members consistently through a supportive and collaborative approach.</p></li></ul> <p dir="ltr"><br></p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>What you will need to succeed</strong></p> <p dir="ltr"><br></p> <ul><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Science, or related fields; advanced degree preferred.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Minimum 12 years of relevant experience, ideally from MNCs, large organizations, or startup ecosystems; Responsible Officer qualification for SFC Type 9 is a plus.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Proven successful investment track record with high-growth portfolio companies and knowledge of business incubation and accelerator best practices.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Strong understanding of investor access for seed and growth funding, as well as budget development and management.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, able to collaborate across diverse stakeholders.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">High integrity, professionalism, passion for the work, and proficiency in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin</p></li></ul> <p dir="ltr"><br></p> <p dir="ltr"><br></p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>How to Apply</strong></p> <p dir="ltr"><br></p> <p dir="ltr">Interested parties, please send your CV directly to y@kingdeux.com or apply directly.</p> <p dir="ltr">Please note that only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.</p>
