Kerala Startup Mission
Government-backed startup incubator and entrepreneurship development agency in Kerala, supporting early-stage companies.
Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) is the Government of Kerala’s nodal agency for entrepreneurship development and incubation in the state. Founded in 2006 to promote technology-based entrepreneurship, it works to build the infrastructure and ecosystem that startups need to develop and grow. Its role brings together founders, students, mentors, investors, institutions, corporates and public agencies around innovation and venture creation.
KSUM supports startups at different stages through early-stage funding, incubation and acceleration, coworking facilities, mentorship, market expansion and investor connections. Its initiatives also enable access to government procurement, support research commercialisation and provide dedicated programs for women entrepreneurs and other parts of the startup ecosystem. With facilities and programs across Kerala, the mission aims to help startups reach markets, find capital and partnerships, and turn ideas into viable ventures.
