IW Capital backs ambitious founders building high-growth technology businesses across the UK. The firm provides equity investment, typically making initial investments of £2–5 million, and may provide follow-on funding. Its investment focus includes artificial intelligence, medtech, SaaS and fintech, and its stated criteria include ambitious management teams, annualised revenue of at least £500,000, Series A businesses, strong intellectual property and scalable business models.

IW Capital says it has invested more than £185 million to date. Beyond capital, the firm works with portfolio companies through follow-on investment, strategic introductions, senior hiring support, growth advice, marketing and public relations. It describes this support through three areas: IW Capital for investment, IW Connect for relationships and introductions, and IW Catalyst for domain expertise and growth support.
