The Role

Off-cycle position from October/November 2026 to June 2027, with the possibility of converting into a permanent Investment Analyst role within the team. The analyst will work across the Venture platform (https://inveready.com/platforms/venture; €350M across the Venture Capital, Convertible Notes and mid-market Industrial Debt strategies) and two strategies of the Private Equity platform (https://inveready.com/platforms/private-equity): the Fund of Funds (Private Equity funds and co-investments) and the Search Fund, which backs searchers acquiring established SMEs through ETA.

The role has a strong focus on Search Funds and Venture: on the search fund side, screening and evaluating searchers, supporting the analysis of their acquisition targets and following the portfolio through the search and operating phases; on the venture side, evaluating and structuring convertible note and equity investments in growth-stage companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Investment analysis and due diligence. Evaluate the financial performance, market positioning and growth potential of investment targets; build financial models, valuation and structuring analyses (equity, convertible and debt instruments); coordinate with legal, financial and operational advisors.
• Investment materials and documentation. Prepare investment memos, one-pagers and investment committee materials; help prepare and review term sheets and deal documentation.
• Portfolio monitoring and reporting. Follow portfolio companies, searchers and funds through regular analysis and reporting; prepare presentations and investor reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Deal sourcing and market research. Build relationships with entrepreneurs, searchers, business schools, accelerators and other investors; research emerging trends, sectors and competitors relevant to the platform's strategies.

Qualifications

• Final-year Bachelor's or Master's student in Engineering, or a double degree combining Engineering with Economics / Business Administration.
• Availability to join full time from October/November 2026 until June 2027.
• Previous internships in consulting, M&A, Big4 Transactions, PE/VC or search funds are a plus.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills; interest in pursuing the CFA charter is a plus.
• Native in Spanish. Full professional proficiency in English.
