VC Analyst Internship Location: Paris Type: Internship (6 months) Industry: Venture Capital Languages: English (fluent) & French (preferred) Start Date: June / July 2026 Your Role At Inovexus, our mission is to support high-potential, tech-driven B2B startups across Europe at the pre-seed and seed stages. Through our Accelerator and Deal Club, we help founders accelerate go-to-market execution, expand internationally, and connect with a global network of 2,500+ investors and 500+ mentors. We invest 1 deal a week through a selection of outstanding startups to our investor community and co-invest €100k–€250k alongside leading VCs, Super Angels, and Deal Clubs. As a VC Analyst Intern, you will: - support sourcing and evaluation of early-stage startups - deepdive of sectors and market research - AI & automation to lessen manual workload Key Responsibilities 1. Startup Sourcing & Qualification (B2B Tech | Europe) - Identify and pre-screen high-potential early-stage B2B tech startups across Europe in line with our community’s investment focus. - Have calls with founders and be involved in Inovexus’ deal process from start to finish. - Review, analyze, and structure insights from pitch decks and inbound startup applications. - Monitor market trends, startup ecosystems, events, and conferences to identify emerging opportunities and new dealflow sources. 2. Support Investment Analysis & Due Diligence - Collect, structure, and synthesize information from data rooms, founder materials, and research. - Support the assessment of startups’ strategic fit with the Inovexus Acceleration Program. - Assist in commercial and technical due diligence, including market and customer analysis, competitive landscape mapping, business model and KPI review, and product and technology deep dives. - Participate in interactions with founders to evaluate product vision, technological differentiation, and team quality. - Prepare briefings, memos, and decision materials for internal investment discussions and committees. 3. Sourcing Process Automation & Tooling (AI / Dev Tools) - Contribute to the automation and continuous improvement of internal sourcing and dealflow processes. - Help build and optimize tools for data collection and enrichment, CRM updates and deal tracking, and reporting, dashboards, and alerts. - Experiment with AI tools, APIs, and no-code/low-code platforms to streamline workflows and improve efficiency. - Support initiatives to improve data quality, process scalability, and transparency across the sourcing pipeline. Who We’re Looking For Education - Currently enrolled / end-of-year student in a degree program in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Data, Information Systems, or a related field demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Comfortable working with technology and motivated to learn how automation and AI can enhance operational workflows. Skills - Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess early-stage business models, markets, and teams. - High level of technical curiosity and hands-on interest in dev tools, APIs, automation platforms, or AI assistants. - Genuine interest in venture capital, SaaS, and B2B technology. - Experience with scripting, no-code tools, or AI-driven workflows is a strong plus. Mindset - Structured, curious, and proactive with a strong sense of responsibility. - Eager to experiment, test ideas quickly, and turn manual processes into automated workflows. - Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with founders and investors. - Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Languages: Fluent in English; French is a plus. Additional European languages are welcome.
