Ideaspace Ventures
Philippine venture capital firm, founded 2012, investing at pre-seed and seed stage in technology startups alongside a three-month accelerator and access to the Metro Pacific and MVP corporate ecosystem.
Ideaspace Ventures is a Philippine venture capital firm founded in 2012 that invests in early-stage technology startups. Its investment activity is concentrated at pre-seed and seed stage, delivered through three vehicles: the HALO Fund, which backs pre-seed and seed-stage companies; the LEGACY Fund, an evergreen structure supporting startup ventures; and the Opportunity Fund, a route through which the firm provides further support including matching investment opportunities. The firm's stated remit is to identify innovative ventures that fit the business ecosystem of its parent group.
Beyond capital, Ideaspace operates the Ideaspace Accelerator Program, a three-month programme providing expert mentorship, founder development workshops and growth support to early-stage startups. The firm reports having supported more than 700 startups and accelerated more than 250 since inception. Its work is focused on the Philippines and the broader Southeast Asian market, with portfolio activity spanning technology and the early-stage startup ecosystem.
Ideaspace Ventures is part of the Metro Pacific and MVP group of companies, and a distinguishing feature of its model is the access this affords founders: warm introductions to corporate partners and investors, government connections, and help in finding customers and scaling. For candidates, this combines a venture investing mandate - sourcing, evaluating and supporting pre-seed and seed-stage technology companies - with hands-on acceleration work, including mentorship delivery and founder development.
