This role is ideal for someone with intellectual curiosity, a strong work ethic, and highly effective communication and collaboration skills, as well as experience building financial models and presentations that clearly tell the story behind the numbers. The Senior Analyst will work closely with the broader finance function and collaborate cross-functionally as needed to support forecasting, budgeting, management reporting, and strategic decision support initiatives. This role is designed to help drive momentum on deliverables, strengthen reporting and analytical rigor, and support process improvements, with increasing ownership over time.
What You’ll Do
- Build and deliver monthly and quarterly financial reports that provide clear insights into firm and business unit performance
- Support firmwide and divisional forecasting, including revenue drivers, expense trends, and long-term initiatives
- Partner with stakeholders across finance to understand cost drivers and develop actionable forecasts
- Contribute to the annual budgeting process, including coordinating inputs and preparing materials for leadership
- Perform margin and variance analyses to uncover key drivers and communicate insights to stakeholders
- Develop and maintain financial models to support scenario planning and strategic decisions
- Improve data quality and reporting processes, including supporting data validation and system enhancements
- Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives, including leveraging new technologies
Ideal Candidate Background
- 4+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, consulting, investment banking, or a similar field
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline
- Advanced Excel skills, including working with large data sets and building financial models
- Strong experience creating presentations that clearly communicate financial insights
- Experience supporting forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning processes
- Understanding of margin and variance analysis and ability to explain performance drivers
- Familiarity with financial systems or data visualization tools such as Intacct, Adaptive, Alteryx, or Tableau is a plus
- Interest in using AI tools to enhance analysis and productivity

Location: Applicants are expected to work onsite in our New York City office in accordance with our hybrid working policy.
Compensation Range: ICONIQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role, together with other compensation being offered such as a discretionary bonus, health insurance, and other perks. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At ICONIQ, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation terms. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $105,000.00- $120,000.00 together with the benefits listed above.
