Hexa is a venture studio founded in 2011 and headquartered in Paris. Rather than investing from the sidelines, it co-builds software companies with founders, taking an active operational role from the earliest stages through growth. Its work spans artificial intelligence, fintech, health tech, cybersecurity, defense, the future of work, and software more broadly.
The firm structures its engagement across three tracks: a company creation track that turns an idea into a company at the earliest stages; an early growth acceleration track for startups; and a scaling track for established businesses. Alongside these, Hexa provides hands-on operational support covering product, design, go-to-market, recruiting, finance, legal, brand, and fundraising, together with access to a network of founders, operators and investors.
The model has produced more than 50 companies, with a combined portfolio valuation exceeding $5 billion and more than 2,600 employees across the portfolio worldwide. The portfolio includes three billion-dollar companies and 12 exits. Geographic presence is anchored in Paris, with portfolio employees spread worldwide.
