We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Associate, Fund Operations to support the team in handling fund-related accounting and finance operations for both our Venture Capital and Liquid Hedge Fund strategies. This role will work under the guidance of senior team members, assisting in day-to-day fund operations and addressing ad-hoc tasks as needed. Unlike traditional finance roles, this position requires navigating the complexities of digital asset operations. You will move beyond simple support tasks to manage shadow accounting, trade reconciliation, and settlement processes. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in accounting and finance, with the ability to adapt in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing fund operations, including capital calls, distributions, and NAV calculations under the guidance of senior team members.
Support fund-related accounting, reconciliation, and financial reporting for VC (Venture Capital) and Liquid Token strategies
Assist in tracking SAFT (Simple Agreement for Future Tokens) vesting schedules, token warrants, and equity-to-token conversions for the VC portfolio.
Help ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Support the team in organizing on-chain transaction data (Hash IDs, Wallet Labels) for internal record-keeping.
Coordinate with auditors, administrators, and other stakeholders to facilitate fund reporting and audit processes.
Assist in cash flow monitoring, forecasting, and financial analysis as directed by senior team members.
Help monitor wallet balances across CEXs (e.g., Coinbase) and on-chain custody to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations.
Work closely with internal teams and external partners to streamline fund operation processes.
Handle ad-hoc operational tasks (e.g., wallet whitelisting, test transactions) and problem-solving as required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in professional accounting firms, specialized in financial institutions or related industries.
Crucial: Strong personal interest in Crypto/Web3. Experience with personal trading or using wallets (MetaMask/Ledger) is a strong plus.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and fund structures.
Willingness to learn how to read block explorers (Etherscan, Solscan) and manage crypto-specific documentation. Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel; experience with fund accounting software is a plus.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
High attention to detail (critical for verifying wallet addresses and transaction amounts).
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.
