Position Specification

Role

The Venture Analyst role is embedded within Greenlight Re Innovations, offering an exciting opportunity to gain experience in early-stage fintech/insurtech investing and a wide variety of P&C lines of business.

Key Responsibilities

●        Assist the sourcing, evaluation, and due diligence of strategic investment opportunities spurring innovation in the (re)insurance industry.

●        Monitor and support companies which Greenlight Re has invested in.

●        Lead research focused on trends and developments in insurtech, venture capital, and/or (re)insurance.

●        Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

●        Represent Greenlight Re at local Insurtech conferences and events.

●        Ad hoc responsibilities as assigned.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

●        Cross-functional background with experience in financial services, technology, or any other STEM industry.

●        3+ months of experience working in / around the startup ecosystem, ideally in a venture capital role

●        Knowledgeable of excel, other programming languages and data visualization tools are an advantage.

●        Genuine interest in and excitement for investing in insurance businesses.

Location

The role will ideally be based in our Cayman office with the option to work from our London and/or Dublin office long-term.

Remuneration

Remuneration will be dependent upon individual experience.
