European regulated: Due to our European base of operations, Hodl Ventures is building on regulated structures enabling us to provide our investors with safe and secure crypto investment products.

Algorand Ventures combines the cryptonative knowledge of the #Algofam community with the Foundation’s ability to support projects at different stages of their lifecycle. To that end, AV makes investments in the ecosystem in three ways: Pre-seed projects via accelerator programs: AV is doubling down on accelerators by beefing up the regional coverage, mentorship networks, VC connections, technical curriculum, and more. Algorand will have best-in-class support for builders coming into the ecosystem on day 1. Stay tuned for details on specific programs but the goal is to accelerate at least 50 projects per year, if not many more.‍ Seed projects via partner funds: The Foundation has long been working side by side with the two preeminent Algorand ecosystem funds - Borderless and Arrington Capital. Today we are proud to announce that earlier this year the Foundation became a limited partner in both of these funds. Projects raising seed stage funding can pitch Algorand Ventures alongside Borderless and Arrington. While AV will not lead or anchor these rounds, we are willing to occasionally co-lead seed rounds and work to secure commitments from other investors that want to come into the Algorand ecosystem.‍ Scale projects via direct investments: Scale stage investments are intended for the household names of Algorand: Tinyman, AlgoFi, Folks Finance, and more come to mind… the prerequisite is having serious tech and serious traction amongst users to warrant consideration. Once Algorand Ventures has committed to a scale investment we will work tirelessly with these teams to bring them to the next level not only within Algorand but within the web3 world at large.

Maven 11 is a crypto-native fund that partners with brave outliers challenging the status quo by redefining ownership. Our core belief is that by redefining ownership, you create a more open, transparent and inclusive world. Maven 11, which was among the earliest crypto-focused venture capital firms to be registered in Europe, initiated its inaugural fund in 2017. Since then, it has evolved into the M11 Group, a company that boasts a team of over 20 professionals with a global presence across all continents. The Red Beard Ventures Syndicate has established our brand as a major investment player in the web3 ecosystem over the past 18 months. With investments in over 100 companies, deploying $40m in capital, and a growing network of over 3,000 strategic LPs, the RBV brand and ecosystem is rapidly expanding. RBV Fund I is only a few months old, and due to our syndicate, we have the portfolio, advisory/diligence network, and brand cache of an established fund of many years. The ability to facilitate partnerships across the fund and syndicate portfolio companies has already produced value in a number of instances. The combination of RBV Fund I and the RBV Syndicate as investment platforms enables Red Beard Ventures to offer unique benefits to both our LPs and portfolio founders. For portfolio founders, we can invest across all stages building long-lasting investment relationships with the companies. In addition, because we offer opportunities to our syndicate to participate alongside the fund, we can write bigger checks beyond the constraints of our fund. For LPs, the syndicate provides opportunities at later stage deals, co-investment opportunities to double down on deals, and exposure to other frontier technology sectors outside of Web3. Red Beard Ventures is not a traditional venture capital firm. As the Web3 space develops a group of investors will gain dominance. The common factor across all of these firms will be their ability to not only act as a source of capital, but function as a multifaceted brand and participating partner in the ecosystems the companies are developing, often powered by their token assets. RBV’s ecosystem positions us to secure allocations in competitive rounds, create relationships with thought leaders, and support portfolio companies in a differentiated way.

Arrington Capital is a digital asset management firm primarily focused on blockchain-based capital markets. The firm, founded in 2017 by TechCrunch and CrunchBase founder Michael Arrington and TechCrunch CEO Heather Harde, has invested in hundreds of startups across the world. Arrington Capital is a seasoned, international team composed of Silicon Valley veterans and operators with deep venture capital experience and crypto native roots. Arrington Capital’s first fund was Arrington XRP Capital, and has expanded to multiple funds over time, including the Arrington Algo Growth Fund and the recently launched Arrington Moonbeam Growth Fund.
