One Way Ventures is an early-stage venture capital fund, operating in the U.S., focused on backing exceptional immigrant founders. After 20 years of angel investing and three years as Managing Director of Techstars Boston, One Way co-founder Semyon Dukach noticed a trend: immigrant-led companies repeatedly outperformed the rest of his portfolio. While immigrants only make up 14% of the U.S. population, they start 24% of startups, and founded or co-founded more than 50% of America’s billion-dollar startups. The general partnership is joined by Eugene Malobrodsky (Anchorfree, $300M raised) and Lex Zhao (Bridgewater, Vestwell). Today, One Way Ventures has over $100M under management and has backed immigrant founders from over 30 countries.

We help our portfolio companies with sales, community, and fundraising strategies by leveraging our expertise, proprietary tools, WhatsApp, and our Ganas LP, mentor, and support community. We’re on a mission to produce outsized returns con ganas! And, while we’re at it, we’re changing the narrative of who VCs are, who we invest in, and how companies become unicorns by just being us. The fund is run by solo-GP Lolita Taub who is building an early-stage VC boutique franchise; after investing in 91 startups as a scout/angel/VC, and post launching her first fund The Community Fund. We are an active venture capital group with a current emphasis on pre-seed, seed, and series A startups. We’re flexible and on occasion, have also invested in late stage and cross over rounds. While Arc is geographically agnostic, to date most of our investments have been based in Israel, Europe and the US (outside of Silicon Valley). Many of our portfolio companies have benefitted from our assistance on strategy, tactics, business development, and even distressed situations.
