GameFounders

GameFounders is an investor and accelerator operator focused on early-stage game studios. Founded in 2012, the firm runs accelerator and incubator cycles aimed at strengthening founding teams, commercialising games, and building studio businesses. It has invested in 67 early-stage studios and teams drawn from 26 countries, and has supported more than 100 studios in total.

Deployment is organised around three accelerator locations: Tallinn, Kuala Lumpur, and Riyadh, giving the portfolio a footprint spanning Europe, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Alongside capital, the model combines structured programme cycles with early-stage mentoring and access to a network of mentors and partner organisations providing industry expertise, services and international connections.

Beyond direct investment and programmes, GameFounders develops games-industry ecosystem initiatives with governments, associations, corporations, universities and industry partners. These include university collaboration, developer meet-ups, internships and game-industry events. Technical and commercial focus areas are game development, startup acceleration and games-industry ecosystem development.
