Who We Are
Game Changers Ventures is an early-stage venture capital firm investing in sports, media, entertainment, and technology. We believe the most enduring businesses are born where culture meets innovation.
We back founders who are reimagining how people play, watch, connect, and compete — from reshaping fan experiences and building digital platforms to creating entirely new categories of sport and entertainment.
Our team combines deep operating experience across sports ownership, media, data, and technology with an operator-first approach. We invest early, support actively, and help founders scale with confidence through capital, credibility, and connections.
At our core, we invest in game changers — ambitious entrepreneurs rewriting the rules of the game and shaping the future of play, competition, and culture.
Why This Role
Game Changers Ventures is seeking an Executive Assistant who will keep the office running seamlessly, support three investment partners, and grow into broader operational work alongside the Head of Operations. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys creating order, anticipating needs, and solving problems in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
The role begins with ownership of the office and core executive support. As the Executive Assistant builds context and trust, the position will expand into projects across finance, accounting, portfolio management, and general firm operations. This is an operations career path, not an investment-team track.
What You Will Own
Office and workplace operations
- Own the day-to-day experience of the New York office and ensure the space is organized, polished, and ready for employees and guests.
- Manage office supplies, pantry items, amenities, cleaning products, electronics, and other inventory.
- Coordinate with building management and vendors on cleaning, HVAC, access, plant care, fixtures, equipment, and maintenance needs.
- Keep conference rooms guest-ready and test Zoom, Google Meet, displays, cameras, and audio before meetings.
- Manage office access and workspace assignments for employees, founders-in-residence, and guests.
- Welcome founders, LPs, operators, and other visitors with a high level of hospitality and discretion.
Executive support
- Manage calendars for three investment partners, including scheduling, coordination, and protection of focus time.
- Own travel from planning through completion, including flights, hotels, ground transportation, and itineraries.
- Manage expense and receipt capture for travel and entertainment.
- Coordinate catering, setup, and cleanup for onsite meetings, happy hours, and firm events.
- Handle printing, shipping, errands, and other time-sensitive requests with sound judgment and follow-through.
Growing operations responsibilities
- Partner directly with the Head of Operations on evolving business and administrative priorities.
- Support finance, accounting, vendor, and administrative workflows as needs arise.
- Contribute to portfolio-management and general operations projects after building fluency in the office and executive-support responsibilities.
- Identify opportunities to improve tools, processes, and the employee and guest experience.
- Take ownership of projects that may not fit neatly into a traditional job description.
What You Bring
- Approximately 4 or more years of experience in executive support, office operations, professional services, or a related environment.
- Experience managing calendars, travel, expenses, and competing priorities for executives or business leaders.
- Business acumen and an interest in developing within operations. Experience in venture capital, private equity, financial services, law, professional services, or another complex business environment is helpful.
- Strong working knowledge of Apple products and comfort troubleshooting conference-room technology, including Zoom, Google Meet, displays, cameras, and audio.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a high standard for how spaces, meetings, and materials look and feel.
- A resourceful, service-oriented approach and a track record of closing loops without repeated follow-up.
- Discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential information.
- The flexibility and ambition to move between hands-on office needs, executive support, and evolving operational projects.
- Comfort working four days per week in the Chelsea office, one day remote, with occasional responsiveness outside standard business hours when schedules or events require it.
What Success Looks Like
- The office operates as a well-oiled machine, with details handled before they become distractions.
- The investment partners have thoughtful, reliable calendar, travel, and administrative support.
- Employees and guests consistently experience a welcoming, polished, and prepared environment.
- The Executive Assistant becomes a trusted partner who can take increasingly complex operational work off the Head of Operations’ plate.
Compensation and Benefits

- Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- Unlimited paid time off.
- Lunch provided in the office.
- Hybrid schedule with four days per week in the New York office and one day remote.
