Venture Architect

Foundersmax is seeking a Venture Architect to lead the ideation, validation, and zero-to-one building of new portfolio companies across the studio. You will be responsible for stress-testing market hypotheses, designing business models, prototyping early solutions, and setting up new ventures for spin-off and scale.

This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for a seasoned builder and strategist who can move seamlessly from concept to launch while establishing repeatable venture-creation frameworks.

Resposibilities

• Define and execute the end-to-end venture ideation, validation, and incubation process
• Conduct deep market research, customer discovery, and competitive analysis to identify high-potential opportunities
• Architect initial business models, go-to-market strategies, and unit economic frameworks for new ventures
• Partner with technical and product teams to rapidly build, test, and iterate on early MVPs
• Establish product-market fit metrics, validation milestones, and go/no-go evaluation criteria
• Transition early-stage ventures to permanent leadership teams and operational frameworks
• Collaborate with studio leadership to refine venture creation playbooks and portfolio strategy
• Ensure alignment between studio resources and portfolio company growth objectives

What We're Looking For

• Venture Experience: 7+ years in venture building, venture capital, product management, or early-stage startup founding
• Builder Experience: Proven track record of taking concepts from zero-to-one, building MVPs, and validating new business models
• Startup Expertise: Deep familiarity with early-stage experimentation, lean startup methodologies, and rapid scaling
• Strategic & Analytical Mindset: Strong capability in financial modeling, market sizing, and evaluating startup risk
• Hands-On Ability: Comfortable prototyping products, conducting user interviews, and executing tasks directly when needed
• Cross-Disciplinary Skills: Ability to bridge product, technology, marketing, and finance to get ventures off the ground
• Execution Drive: High agency, bias for action, and resilience in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
