Fifth Down Capital ("Fifth Down"), a Boston-based venture capital firm, has an opening for an Investor Relations Associate. Founded in 2014, Fifth Down Capital is looking for a highly motivated and team-oriented individual to join our growing organization.
The Investor Relations Associate will report to the Director of Investor Relations. The Investor Relations team falls under the Finance team. This individual will play a key role in supporting the Investor Relations function, working closely with senior management to manage LP relationships, streamline internal processes, and ensure a best-in-class investor experience. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and equally comfortable with detail-oriented operational work and high-level investor-facing communications.

Specific Responsibilities
- Correspond with investors through verbal and written communication on investor services inquiries
- Support investor communications process including ad-hoc updates, newsletters, quarterly updates
- Assist with maintenance of marketing materials and organization of data room
- Support planning and execution of Annual Meeting and investor events
- Assist with investor onboarding process
- Proactively identify and resolve issues for smooth processes
- Liaise with fund administrator regarding investor information updates
- Work with Finance to coordinate capital calls
- Monitor internal communication channels for actionable items
- Organize investor documentation and assist with investor tracking during fundraising
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, legal, and investment teams
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years professional experience in investor relations, finance, client service, or operations at a Registered Investment Advisor preferred
- Undergraduate degree required
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Commitment to excellence and pride in work product
- Flexibility and ability to work independently and in team environment
- Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize work assignments
