Role Description

We are seeking a hands-on Fund Accountant to support the firm's day-to-day finance and fund operations. Working closely with the CFO, you will help execute accounting, reporting, and fund administration tasks across the management company, our fund vehicles and SPVs. This is an ideal role for a detail-oriented fund account with closed-end fund experience.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of fund accounting experience, with private equity closed-end fund experience required (venture capital experience preferred).
  • CPA designation, or active progress toward the CPA with one or more parts of the exam passed.
  • Strong understanding of fund structures, fund accounting, capital calls/distributions, management fee and carried interest mechanics.
  • Strong fund accounting and NAV calculation with experience maintaining accurate books and records for investment funds.
  • Proficiency in preparing and reviewing financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Experience with financial reporting processes, including investor reports and regulatory filings, and familiarity with finance principles.
  • Solid understanding of core finance concepts, including valuation, portfolio accounting, and cash reconciliations.
  • Excellent Excel and Financial modeling skills.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism handling confidential information.
  • Self-directed and reliable, comfortable working independently in a small, fast-moving firm.

Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000, commensurate with experience.
