Role Description
The Executive Vice President is a full-time remote role responsible for leading investment strategy, portfolio management, and firm growth across Fintech and B2B SaaS sectors.
Responsibilities
- Source and evaluate early-stage deals, conduct due diligence, structure and negotiate investments, and present recommendations to the investment committee.
- Oversee relationships with founders, co-investors, and strategic partners, providing guidance on go-to-market strategies, fundraising, and scaling within financial services.
- Contribute to firm operations, including brand building, thought leadership, and internal process optimization.
- Mentor junior team members and represent the fund at industry events.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or strategic corporate development, preferably in Fintech or B2B SaaS.
- Proven track record in sourcing deals, performing financial and market analysis, leading due diligence, and structuring early-stage investments.
- Deep understanding of financial services, technology trends, and startup dynamics, with the ability to assess product-market fit and scalability.
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills, with experience working closely with founders and executive teams.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including mentoring, team collaboration, and contributing to overall firm strategy and culture.
- Comfort working in a remote, distributed environment with strong self-management, decision-making, and accountability.
- An advanced degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field is preferred; relevant professional certifications or prior startup experience are a plus.
