Earthshot Ventures is an early-stage venture capital firm backing technology companies with substantial climate benefits. It invests across geographies from Pre-Seed to Series B, targeting businesses where advances in technology meet the potential for meaningful environmental improvement. Its stated criterion is straightforward: companies that outperform the status quo by being cheaper, better or faster, with the firm placing weight on market timing, customer demand and repeatable paths to revenue.

Investment themes concentrate on artificial intelligence and infrastructure, energy, and critical minerals, with additional exposure to materials, robotics, data-centre infrastructure, energy efficiency and AI-enabled industrial applications. The portfolio skews accordingly: more than 70% of active portfolio companies have AI at the core of their products. Deployment is selective - the firm invests in fewer than 0.4% of the companies it evaluates.
