EA Group Holding is growing, and we're looking for a driven VC Analyst to join our investment team in Almaty.
About the Role
You'll be an integral part of our deal team, working across the full early-stage investment lifecycle — from sourcing opportunities to preparing materials for the Investment Committee.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactive deal sourcing: identifying and engaging promising startups across target sectors and geographies
- Screening and managing the dealflow pipeline — evaluating inbound and outbound opportunities against investment criteria
- Conducting due diligence and preparing IC memos and supporting materials
- Monitoring market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging sectors
- Supporting portfolio companies as needed
What We're Looking For
- Foundational understanding of venture capital — how funds work, deal structuring, valuation basics, and the startup ecosystem
- Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (fluency required; Russian/Kazakh a plus)
- Proactive, self-starter mindset with the ability to manage multiple workstreams
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; prior internship or work experience in VC, PE, investment banking, or consulting is a plus
