Daftcode

Daftcode is a Polish venture builder headquartered in Warsaw. Rather than investing in external companies, it originates and builds technology startups in-house, taking them from concept through product development to market launch and subsequent growth. Ventures are developed from Daftcode's own ideas, research and know-how, and each is run as an independent team, supported with the firm's technology and business expertise. Alongside its own portfolio, Daftcode works with early-stage startups and founders seeking to scale.

The portfolio comprises 25 companies, with additional ventures in the pipeline. The businesses span a broad set of technical domains, including software development, payment infrastructure, fraud prevention, distributed databases, booking systems, manufacturing optimisation, STEAM education technology, fintech, gaming and deep technology more generally. Sector coverage is correspondingly wide, running from business software and consumer products through education, financial technology, gaming, payments, manufacturing and travel.

Daftcode's operating model draws on experience in launching and scaling technology businesses, applying that experience to ventures it builds from the ground up. The firm's activities are concentrated in Poland.
