With a portfolio of over 40 innovative companies, we offer liquid access to venture capital investments, a traditionally illiquid asset class, supported by regulatory frameworks from Polish and German financial authorities.

We are now seeking a Communications & Investor Relations Lead Intern: a strong writer and storyteller who can help shape Carlson VC’s narrative across press, investor relations, and thought leadership.

The Role

You Will:

  • Draft and edit press releases announcing investments, partnerships, and portfolio milestones.

  • Support investor relations communications including quarterly updates, investor decks, and shareholder letters.

  • Write thought leadership articles on venture trends, technology sectors, and portfolio insights.

  • Create newsletters and regular updates for our investor and founder communities.

  • Develop blog posts and case studies showcasing our portfolio companies and their impact.

  • Coordinate with the social media and growth team to align messaging across platforms.

  • Monitor industry news and identify PR and media opportunities for the firm

Who You Are:

  • A confident writer and communicator who values clarity and tone.

  • Interested in startups, venture capital, innovation, and finance.

  • Able to translate complex concepts into engaging, accessible stories.

  • Organized, curious, and comfortable balancing multiple projects.

  • Familiar with investor relations, journalism, or PR principles (a plus).

  • Experience with content tools such as Zoho Campaigns, Canva is helpful.

What You Will Gain:

  • Real-world experience communicating on behalf of a publicly listed venture capital firm.

  • Exposure to investor relations strategy, venture communications, and content creation.

  • Mentorship from VC professionals, marketers, and communications experts.

  • The opportunity to publish press releases, newsletters, and articles with public visibility.

  • A strong writing portfolio demonstrating strategic and professional impact.
