Canyon Creek Capital

Canyon Creek Capital is an early-stage venture capital firm founded in 2010 and headquartered in Santa Monica, California. It invests in technology companies and works with entrepreneurs building high-growth businesses. The firm was founded by Buck Jordan.

The firm's investment activity is organised around two approaches. The first, termed "Bridge to the A", supports companies that have demonstrated market traction and are preparing for their next stage of growth ahead of a Series A round. The second consists of Series A investments in technology companies with demonstrated market traction. In both cases, traction is the qualifying criterion: the firm enters after a company has shown market demand, rather than at the concept stage.

Portfolio activity spans a range of consumer and business-facing technology categories, including local business marketing, digital gift cards, mobile shopping, advertising, food and beverage subscriptions, crowdfunding, web conferencing and entertainment. The firm describes its objective as building companies alongside entrepreneurs while maximising flexibility and returns for its investors.
