As we expand our AI-driven investment capabilities, we are looking for a dedicated AI Specialist to join our investment team.

We invest in AI-native startups, focusing on both infrastructure and application layers at early stages. To assess these companies effectively, we want to expand our technology team with deep technical insights. This role will not only support technical due diligence and product assessments for AI startups but also build internal AI tools that enhance our investment process.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze the AI architecture, models, and infrastructure of potential investment targets.
• Collaborate with investment professionals to evaluate technical feasibility and differentiation of AI startups.
• Design and develop AI-powered tools to automate and augment BV’s investment workflows (e.g., deal sourcing, market mapping, benchmarking).
• Stay up to date with new models, papers, and AI frameworks; incorporate cutting-edge approaches into practice.
• Work with foundation models like GPT-4, Claude, LLaMA, and Mistral; integrate them with frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, and vector DBs.
• Build, fine-tune, and deploy models using Hugging Face, PyTorch, and other modern ML frameworks.
• Design retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines to enable intelligent, real-time decision support.
• Explore multi-agent LLM setups for research automation, synthesis, and evaluation tasks.
• Implement guardrails, prompt engineering practices, and optimize performance for internal AI tools.

🔍 Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, AI/ML, or a related field (1–3 years of experience preferred; exceptional fresh graduates considered).
• Strong Python development skills; experience building RESTful APIs (Flask/FastAPI).
• Experience with AI application deployment and model fine-tuning using LoRA, QLoRA, etc.
• Familiarity with LLM orchestration frameworks, RAG pipelines, and vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Weaviate, Pinecone).
• Proficiency with Hugging Face Transformers, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.
• Understanding of multi-agent architectures and LLM-based autonomous agents.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Interest in VC, startups, and the AI ecosystem; curiosity about how AI intersects with business and innovation.

• Experience evaluating AI products from a product-market fit or scalability perspective.
• Familiarity with VC and startup ecosystem tools.
