BCF Ventures is a Montreal-based corporate venture capital fund founded in 2018 and spun out of the BCF Business Law Firm, launching on 1 June 2018. The fund invests in technology-based startups, principally in Canada and the United States, and is led by CEO Sergio A. Escobar.

Its investment approach is largely co-investment: BCF Ventures backs companies primarily alongside other funds, targeting teams with distinctive technology and intellectual property. The core remit is enterprise software and AI-driven applications, with technical interest areas spanning analytics, CRM, ERP, supply chain technology and cybersecurity. Opportunistic investments are made in fintech, cybersecurity and digital-native consumer platforms; broader sector exposure includes sports, wellness, gaming and entertainment.

In addition to investing, BCF Ventures is a designated organization authorized by the Government of Canada to invest in and support potential startups through the Start-Up Visa Program. Its geographic activity is centred on Canada and the United States, with additional presence in Europe and Israel.
