Each Board role is a full-time commitment (40 hours per week, with at least 24 hours in-office) and includes a monthly compensation of €800.
I. Managing Partner
You are the driving force behind ASIF. As Managing Partner, you set the vision, lead the team, and ensure everything we do pulls the fund closer to our mission. By operating at the intersection of leadership and execution, you are at the forefront of the organization.
Responsibilities
Define and drive the fund’s long-term strategy and vision.
Translate strategy into execution across all verticals.
Lead and manage the Board, ensuring alignment and performance.
Foster a motivated and positive work environment.
Manage key stakeholder relationships and interactions with the ASIF Advisory Board.
Dedicate a significant portion of your time (~50%) to investments (sourcing, screening, due diligence, term sheet negotiations, portfolio management, etc.).

II. Investment Manager
You lead the fund’s core. As the Investment Manager at ASIF Ventures, you manage our investment pipeline, ensuring a seamless deal flow. From sourcing startups to closing deals, you guarantee we back the most promising founders and build a high-quality portfolio.
Responsibilities
Lead every step of the investment journey, from sourcing to closing successful deals.
Cultivate a strong deal flow pipeline (both inbound and outbound).
Conduct and oversee due diligence and investment decisions.
Optimize deal-tracking and investment systems and processes.
Drive the ASIF Ventures team toward achieving its yearly investment target.
Who You Are
A recent graduate or final-year student at a Dutch university.

III. Head of Marketing
You are the voice of the fund. As Head of Marketing, you shape ASIF Ventures’ presence within the startup and student ecosystem and communicate its mission and activities both internally and externally. Through storytelling, you build a brand that attracts founders, partners, and talent.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute innovative marketing campaigns to promote ASIF Ventures’ events and initiatives.
Manage content across online and offline channels to keep our community informed and engaged.
Ensure consistent and strong brand identity across all touchpoints.
Track performance and optimize campaigns based on analytics.
Foster relationships with media and external partners to enhance visibility.
Co-organize ASIF Ventures’ events and programs, including XLerate and PitchXL.

IV. Head of Partnerships
You expand the fund’s reach. As Head of Partnerships, you play a crucial role in building and strengthening relationships within the Dutch startup ecosystem. Your mission is to position ASIF Ventures as a key player among students, corporate partners, and VC firms.
Responsibilities
Identify, initiate, develop and manage collaborations with key partners.
Secure sponsorships and partnerships for ASIF Ventures’ events and initiatives.
Act as the fund’s main external representative.
Build and maintain ecosystem relationships with key players in the Dutch startup scene.
Co-organize ASIF Ventures’ events and programs, including XLerate and PitchXL.
Dedicate a significant portion of your time (~50%) to investments (sourcing, screening, due diligence, term sheet negotiations, portfolio management, etc.).

A recent graduate or final-year student at a Dutch university.

V. Head of Operations
You make everything run seamlessly. As Head of Operations at ASIF Ventures, you are the engine behind our internal systems. You manage and enhance the fund’s tech stack, streamline internal processes, and implement automation to help execute faster and smarter.
Responsibilities
Manage and improve ASIF’s internal tech stack to ensure a seamless workflow.
Identify inefficiencies and implement automation.
Streamline task management, documentation, and internal procedures.
Support Board members cross-functionally.
Drive continuous process innovation to improve the fund’s day-to-day operations.

VI. Finance and Compliance Manager
You safeguard the backbone of the fund. As Finance and Compliance Manager at ASIF Ventures, you ensure the fund's financial stability, legal operations, and long-term sustainability while playing an integral role in investment decisions.
Responsibilities
Manage the fund’s financial planning, reporting, and budgeting.
Handle accounting, tax filings, and legal obligations, keeping ASIF Ventures aligned with regulatory requirements.
Track expenditures, optimize financial structures, and align spending with strategic goals.
Coordinate periodic shareholder meetings.
Dedicate a significant portion of your time (~50%) to investments (sourcing, screening, due diligence, term sheet negotiations, portfolio management, etc.).
Who You Are
A recent graduate or final-year student at a Dutch university.
Background in finance, accounting, law, or related field.
Detail-oriented problem solver with strong analytical skills.
