ARTPARK
ARTPARK, an IISc-based organization in Bengaluru, advances AI, robotics, and autonomous systems through translational research, startup incubation, infrastructure, partnerships, and funding.
ARTPARK (AI & Robotics Technology Park) is an innovation and incubation organization hosted at the Indian Institute of Science in Bengaluru. Its remit is translational: moving research in artificial intelligence, robotics, and autonomous systems from laboratory work toward validated, deployable technology, and convening researchers, startups, industry, and government around that process. Coverage spans the full technology readiness journey, from early research through validation and deployment.
The organization's operating surface is broad. Startup incubation and accelerator programs support entrepreneurs and researchers in taking ideas toward market applications, backed by access to IISc research facilities, robotics laboratories, AI computing resources, and 5G testing environments, alongside mentorship, networks, and access to capital and grants. Technical domains of focus include advanced robotics, Industry 5.0, health data and AI, wired and wireless technologies, 5G, and language technologies, with skills development as a supporting thread.
Translational initiatives are structured according to the technology and its beneficiaries - as for-profit ventures, social nonprofits, or digital public goods. This flexibility in organizational form, combined with a collaborative ecosystem model and close ties to academic infrastructure, defines ARTPARK's approach to deploying technology at scale. Industry verticals span healthcare, telecommunications, manufacturing, education, and research and development.
